the voting

I've never voted on triple j's hottest 100 before this year. And apart form missing half of the countdown firstly because I was in the Mid-North Coast and couldn't find the frequency and then because I had to get out of the car with no radio, digital tv or internet so I could listen to the rest.

Anyways, I looked at the list this morning and I'm kinda happy. Not the pretentious 'omg I'm going to kill them all for not putting that song on there' but the feeling that you kinda made a difference. Trivial, I know, but nothing I've ever voted for has ever won anything. Even when I voted for Anthony Cllea on Australian Idol a few years ago because I thought there was no way that Casey chick would win. In hindsight, I really don't think she won at all.

I feel amazingly happy. I don't know why but I feel energetic and just very, very happy - nothings bothering me. Something should be bothering me, but I'm inexplicably carefree to the world. The kind of carefreeness that makes me want to jump all around the place, sprinkling glitter on top of peoples heads.

I'm going to lap it up.
I feel good.
